Synopsis

She has a job as a cigarette girl at the Beaker Club and Alan realizes that it is no place for a girl like Kiltie. He enters the club just as Kiltie brings her cigarette tray over a customer's head for being fresh with her.
El Vero forces Kim to nurse the man she shot until he regains his health. It turns out he was a fellow countryman, not an enemy. El Vero decides that Kim draws trouble and decides to send her away. As she tries to hide her tears, she runs into her brother Jack. Jack claims that El Vero is a traitor and a coward.
