Synopsis
Pete wants money and doesn't care how he gets it. He drops his girlfriend when he sees a chance to work on the daughter of the owner of Steven's Shipping Company. He arranges an accident that kills Mr. Steven and tries to put the blame on the daughter's boyfriend while he plays the role of sympathetic friend to her.
