Like a hungry cat watching ten nimble mice, Little Beaver watched the calloused fingers of Jerkline Thompson.

Synopsis
Jerkline teaches Little Beaver to use the blacksnake whip, letting him practice with a smaller old whip. When the old mule skinner and the boy are accosted by two highwaymen, they use their whips to disarm the badmen.

Synopsis
Doc triggers the booby trap. The town learns Chet was kidnapped. Ted dons an Apache disguise to get near the outlaws' hide-out. Pretending to be digging onions, he finds gold. The disguise works when an outlaw discovers him, and takes his onions, telling him to git. At night he approaches the outlaw cabin where Chet is held. He taps in Morse code...
