Synopsis
1st page: A Little Beaver soliloquy, as he goes to bathe in the river: complaining that Red says he must do so every day; and envying fish, who never have to.

2nd page: While hanging out at the corral, Little Beaver brags to Red that he never misses the bull's-eye target on the wall: he demonstates, shooting an arrow in the wall, then drawing a target around it.

Synopsis
Little Beaver makes a rubber sling. Po-ko misses the target; they find gold where the arrow zipped into the river. When Little Beaver uses the sling with an arrow, he thwarts a thief.
