- Synopsis
- On a dance night thirty horses are stolen from their hitchracks and loaded into a stock car. On a bridge over the river, one by one, the stolen horses are forced to jump from the stock car on the threstle into the river. They are then gathered and driven away.
After all the Fred Harman newspaper stories had been reprinted in the Red Ryder comic book, the new stories in the book were ghosted by several artists. One was John Hampton, and the art here is identical to his Kiyotee Kid story in #40, except for the heavy inking. Art ID by Steinar Ådland January 2011.
