Indexer Notes

Though Davy Crockett was well-known at the time of this story's publication due to a popular song, "The Ballad of Davy Crockett," and a television series produced by Walt Disney, the historical Davy Crockett was not born until 1786, after the time of the American Revolution where the Tomahawk stories are set.
