- Synopsis
- Northstar takes Aurora to a psychologist to see what can be done about her having two separate personas. He then takes her to see a good friend of his, Raymonde Belmonde, a restaurant owner. There, they find out that the restaurant is being blackmailed by local crime lord Deadly Ernest. When Ernest's thugs barge in, Ernest kills Belmonde with a touch and kidnaps Aurora. Northstar does not dare reveal his powers before Belmonde's daughter Danielle, but swears revenge. Meanwhile, Delphine Courtney invites Alec Thorne to join her and her employer in a new project.

- Synopsis
- At an archeological dig in the Arctic Circle, an ancient headband is discovered. At night, it beckons to its finder and puts him in contact with two gods, who ask him to give up his "seed of humanity". Accepting, the man finds himself returned to earth fifteen years later. A year later, Shaman feels himself summoned to the site, where the goddess Nelvanna reveals herself to him, pregnant. Shaman performs the role of midwife to the goddess and a young infant is entrusted to his care.

- Synopsis
- In an isolated research station, Dr. Langkowski is invited to study an odd cosmic radioactivity phenomenon. When the scientist locks in, the Fantastic Four's the Thing is "beamed in", forcing Langkowski to reveal his secret identity to the others. Then the other scientists are killed off and the strange visitor turns out to be someone else altogether.

The first 11 pages of the story are a dream sequence; Comic legend has it that due to the infamous Byrne/Claremont feud, Byrne had a difficult time obtaining permission to use Wolverine in this series and was only allowed to use Wolvie in an illusionary sequence with no dialogue (even though he appears and speaks on the cover) in this issue. (Things must have cleared up somewhat as Logan appears properly in Alpha Flight #16-17); In the splash page credits, Jim Shooter's name appears on a gravestone carved as the Grim Reaper.

- Synopsis
- Roger Bochs meets up with Madison Jeffries in hopes of recreating the Box armor. Wolvie visits Heather in the hospital. - Alpha Flight travels to the realm of the Great Beasts in order to recover Walter Langkowski's soul. They succeed in defeating Somon and his cohorts but, when they return to Earth with Walter's essence, they find his physical body has crumbled. The soul of Walter is placed into the Box robot. With the Great Beasts vanquished, Snowbird lets Alpha Flight believe that she has left the realm of Earth when she has really decided to settle down with her love, Doug Thompson.

- Synopsis
- With most of Alpha Flight captured by Omega Flight at the East Edmonton Mall, Shaman, Aurora and Box ride in to the rescue. Snowbird also leaves her quiet life with Doug to help her friends. The rest of Alpha Flight learns that Guardian is really an evil robot as the villain snatches Shaman's medicine pouch and looks inside for Smart Alec. Things get worse when Guardian turns the medicine pouch inside out which unleashes magical forces that threaten to destroy the world. Talisman is able to use her abilities to stop the madness but Shaman fails to rescue her and she is pulled into the pouch.

- Synopsis
- The Beyonder wishes to explore the human concept of desire and picks Dazzler (whom he calls possibly the most powerful mutant to walk the planet) as his new love interest. Despite all of his best efforts at wining and dining, gift giving, emotional manipulation and showing off with his powers, he finds that the only way he can make her fall for him is to control her mind and force her. Finding this to be unfulfilling, he releases her from his control and abandons his quest.

- Synopsis
- Omega Flight tries to escape from their encounter with Alpha Flight but run into Madison Jeffries in the parking lot of the mall and he dispatches them singlehandedly. The Beyonder has rescued Talisman from Shaman's medicine pouch (in Secret Wars II #4), but Elizabeth is really angry with her father and magically sends the team back to their base without her. Roger Bochs "hooks" what looks to be a more suitable body for Walter than the Box robot but, unfortunately, the body already belongs to the incredible Hulk.
