Synopsis
The Emperor is delighted with the song of a nightingale until he receives the gift of a mechanical bird. Delighted with the unusual toy, the Emperor snubs the nightingale and she returns to the forest. When the mechanical bird breaks down from overuse, the Emperor falls deathly ill, but the nightingale returns to the palace and her song restores his health.
