Elisa's mother was a famous theatrical actress who had a violent temper. Over the years, Elisa had learned to control her own temper. But when Ricardo has an accident in the kitchen and ruins the meal Elisa had been preparing, she finally explodes, throwing dishes at him as she yells at him to get out. Soon after, Elisa regrets her outburst and fears she has lost Ricardo. But Ricardo soon returns, happy that she has revealed herself to be a human with blood running in her veins instead of the placid person she had appeared to be before.
Yolanda was a saleswoman at the record company "Voces" and was passionate about classical music. But her young customers, including Luis, are interested in rock. Luis and Yolanda are attracted to each other, but when he attends a classical music concert, he sees her sitting next to a young man and assumes he is her boyfriend. She doesn't get a chance to correct his mistake because she is sent to Austria to represent "Voces" at an international exposition. She meets men from other countries, but they only make her appreciate Luis more.
Against her parents wishes, Cris had come to London to be a model. Now, with no money and no job, Cris is forced to pawn the bracelet her parents had given her as a gift before she left home. At the pawn shop, a stranger helps her negotiate for a higher price. Hearing of her predicament, he invites her to live at the communal residence where he and others stay. Cris becomes accustomed to that life, but when she receives a letter from her mother, telling her she is coming to visit, Cris thinks of the bracelet and critizes Bill for his lifestyle.
