Synopsis
Idly-rich, Susan is talking to her stuffed panda next to her while driving on Sunset Boulevard. Distracted, she pulls up late at a traffic signal and hits the car in front of her. Buying new cars like other girls buy new shoes, she trades in her dented car. The car salesman has a hard edge that intrigues her so she demands Quentin deliver the car to her personally. Afterwards, he takes her to Las Vegas. Already in debt there, he loses even more money. He is offered a chance to have his debts forgiven if he uses his connection to help kidnap Susan in a ransom plot.

Synopsis
Although Jenny's father was a loving husband and parent, her childhood was filled with ups and downs because of his gambling. So she decides when she gets married, she is not going to marry someone who gambles. When she and Clive agree to get married, they decide to save their money first. Everything seems to be going well when Clive tells her that Copper Mine has made a big profit. Then she discovers that Copper Mine is the name of a race horse he had bet on.
