At the bottom of that splash page, the note states that the story was "First published in 1964". Currently, the 1964 story has not been identified, but True Life Library (IPC, 1954 series) #664 (1969) has a cover story with the same title.

But when Bob is found, Jill learns that Jack actually saved his life.
