Synopsis
Seeing a man falling from a tall building, Dr. Pat drives her car beneath him so that the canvas top cushions the fall. When he comes to he tells a story that his brother has been framed for a murder by the politician Saunders. Pat enlists Hank's help to trap Saunders, which they do when he tries to murder the hospitalized man.

A strange balloon appears in the sky and there is a simultaneous broadcast by The Brain, who sets mankind a series of puzzles. Failure to solve them means death. Astra distracts The Brain with an old Earth puzzle, while she sets the balloon's controls to take it back out into space.
