Synopsis
After the Skrull invasion, Bush feels the need to tighten security and appoints Green Goblin to do so. He appoints a cabal including Lizard, Mysterio, Electro, and a Skrull. He uses the money he saves by giving everyone purple uniforms to perform more unwarranted wiretaps. They stop a robbery, but the robber doesn't take them seriously, so they decide they are now Avengers. The Avengers threaten to leave, so they take their identities. When the old Avengers violate the noise ordinance, both teams fight. The old Avengers leave and join the X-Men.
