Synopsis
Anne takes a job as a companion for the crippled wife of a man studying Middle East history in Tangier. Soon Anne learns that the wife doesn't want her there and only married her husband for his money. The wife is in love with a childhood friend who is visiting on business. She mistakenly thinks that this man is in love with Anne, but he is actually in love with the wife's servant.
