Bank teller Arthur Cook is offered the services of a mighty genie. After the brute has disposed of two of Cook's enemies, Cook murders the genie's master. To save money and to operate the fiend himself. Too late Cook realizes he had fallen for an elaborate scam.

Old Pearly Marston, operator of the Searock lighthouse, keeps away the dead from the sea by shining his beacon. When the lighthouse is dismantled, dozens of zombies attack the city and claim their former possessions. Marston is able to lure them back into the sea.
