One of Scrooge's banks gives one hundred dollars each to Donald, Jubal Pomp and a Beagle Boy as a promotional stunt, with the provision that if they keep or invest the money at a profit, they'll receive a bonus hundred. Immediately Scrooge tries to tempt them all into foolish purchases in order to keep from losing even more money.
