- Synopsis
- Henry Pym crea un suero capaz de reducir de tamaño. Decide experimentar con seres vivos, empleándose a sí mismo como conejillo de indias. Presa del pánico al encoger, Pym corre hasta el jardín de la casa y es atacado por hormigas. Incapaz de huir de ellas, se esconde en el interior de su hormiguero. Cae en una reserva de miel, pero es salvado por una hormiga amistosa. Finalmente logra salir del hormiguero y ,en el exterior, la misma hormiga que le ha ayudado le permite alcanzar de nuevo la ventana de su laboratorio. Al llegar recupera su tamaño, tras lo cual se deshace de los sueros.

Primera aparición de Henry Pym en el Universo Marvel, su siguiente aparición se sitúa en Tales To Astonish #35 ya con la identidad del Hombre Hormiga.
Henry Pym inventa y utiliza por primera ver el suero que reduce el tamaño, además del suero que lo devuelve a su tamaño normal. Aunque aquí no se menciona, el invento implica el descubrimiento de unas partículas que permiten el cambio de tamaño y posteriormente se conocerán como Partículas Pym, en honor a su descubridor.

- Synopsis
- Hank Pym, tras haber creado el suero para reducir el tamaño, se vuelve un estudioso de las hormigas, crea un traje especial para protegerse de ellas y un casco que le permite sintonizar su longitud de onda para comunicarse con ellas. El gobierno contrata a Hank Pym y su laboratorio para que cree un gas que sirva para inmunizar a la gente frente a la radiación. Los rusos envían a unos espían para apoderarse de ella, secuestrando a los científicos. Hank Pym se le ocurre la idea de utilizar el suero para detener a los espías. De esta forma sale al jardín para ir al hormiguero.

En este número empieza el serial dedicado al Hombre Hormiga (Hombre Gigante a partir de Tales To Astonish #49), que se prolongará hasta Tales To Astonish #69. Estará coprotagonizado por la Avispa a partir de Tales To Astonish #44.
Aquí se produce la primera aparición de Hank Pym con el disfraz del Hombre Hormiga, aunque el nombre no lo adopta hasta el final de la historia.
Se explican por primera vez los poderes de Hank Pym a tamaño reducido.
Se crea el caso que le permite comunicarse con las hormigas y del traje de Hombre Hormiga.
Primera aparición de Nikita Kruschev en el Universo Marvel, lo que supone la primera aparición de un personaje real en dicho universo. Cronológicamente hay que situar con anterioridad sus apariciones en flashbacks de Captain America Annual #13, ambientadas en 1953. Su próxima aparición después de esta historia tendrá lugar en la primera historia de Tales of Suspense #41.

- El Hombre Hormiga descubre que una mujer quiere verle. Ésta revela que es la esposa de un espía del que quiere vengarse porque le dejó por otra mujer y le advierte que ha sido enviado a los Estados Unidos para capturarle y descubrir el secreto de su tamaño. El Hombre Hormiga le derrota con sus hormigas, tras descubrir que la espía es la propia mujer.

- El Hombre Hormiga tiene el primer enfrentamiento con el villano, del cual no sale muy bien parado. Después, urde un plan para detenerlo, abriendo una joyería para servir de señuelo al villano. Los planes de Pym, salen bien, ya que el extorsionador hace acto de presencia, lo que le permite utilizar a las hormigas para seguirle. Sin embargo, el Protector estaba esperando ser descubierto y tenía una trampa preparada acorde con su adversario. Por suerte, el Hombre Hormiga consigue derrotar al Protector. Finalmente, Pym revela que Mash era en realidad el Protector.

- Synopsis
- Unos malhechores buscan alguien capaz de librarse del Hombre Hormiga, que al final será Cabeza de Huevo. Así, empieza a estudiar cintas del Hombre Hormiga en acción, también acerca de la vida de las hormigas y además logra crear un aparato para comunicarse con ellas. De este modo trata de convencerlas de que traicionen al Hombre Hormiga. Una vez el plan está en marcha, las hormigas llevan a Pym a la trampa pero logra salir airoso de la misma y derrotar al villano, que escapa, aunque la policía logra detener a los ladrones y rufianes del montón.

- When a fellow scientist is killed by an alien being, Ant-Man enlists the help of the dead man's daughter. He gives her the ability to shrink and tiny wasp wings, and she joins him as his partner the Wasp. The duo use the alien's acidic nature to destroy it, saving the city.
