- Synopsis
- Vivian, unable to pin down a modeling job, is hired as an escort girl. When she meets the man of her dreams named Jerry, who wants to marry her, trouble breaks out when her boss, who is also interested in her "charms", breaks up the romance so he can take center stage. Unfortunately for Mike, a jealous woman decides to kill him, but dies in the struggle over a gun, and all is over-heard by Jerry and the authorities, who are trying to close down Mike's illicit operation.

- Synopsis
- Mona is bullied in high school because she’s overweight. Only Tony stands up for her, but she rejects his friendship, believing he just feels sorry for her. As an adult, Mona learns she has a glandular condition and may be fat forever. Gene, who works in her father’s candy factory, courts Mona, but she learns her father promised him a partnership if he marries her. Mona locks herself in her room, depressed. Tony insists he loves her and she agrees to marry him, then discovers she’s also lost a lot of weight during her depression-induced isolation.

- Doris Bassett is the office manager where Mike Cullen works. Doris loves Mike, but he is a poor fit in the job and she has to fire him. Mike takes it badly, but Doris works behind the scenes to get Mike a job working with his uncle. Mike discovers Doris' role in getting his new job and she asks his forgiveness for interfering. Mike kisses her, then bends her over his knee and playfully whacks her on the bottom to show her what will happen the next time she tries to wear the pants in their family. He insists on an early wedding which is exactly what Doris wanted.
