In a flashback story, Superboy learns about kryptonite for the first time. His school assignment is Geology, so Pa Kent brings home a "green glowing rock" that sickens Superboy near death. Superboy sends his robots out on missions, except for his first obsolete lead-lined robot. Only when the robot steps in front of the deadly kryptonite does Superboy figure out the radiation. So it was sentimentality that saved his life!

Synopsis
Clearing his finny friends from an atomic test site, Aquaman is hurled into the distant future. Here the oceans dried up and all the world's water is a small aquarium in a museum! His finny friends are all dead? No, they evolved into land-whales and land-octopuses and real flying fish. He's taken to a lab with a time machine, but thieves burst into steal it and loot the past. Aquaman summons his land-fish friends to pummel the thieves, and is soon sent home, glad to see all that water!
