Synopsis
An octopoid space monster terrifies a ship's crew. Rick Starr (Space Ranger), flying in the Solar King with Myra and Cryll, learn it's a space mirage broadcast by blue-ostrich Korthan rebels out to conquer their planet and Earth. Cryll's disguises and Space Ranger's use of an old iron cannon to disperse the mirages saves the planet.
