A man invents a gas that makes people 30 feet tall. While everyone is giant-sized, he goes around looting the town. He forgets to store enough oxygen bottles, so he removes his mask and has to breathe in his own gas. He gets stuck in the subway until the gas wears off.

An unemployed actor comes across a room with two billion cards in it, which assigns all human beings their role in life. A loudspeaker takes requests from people who wish to change their roles. When the actor is refused his request for a new role, he threatens to expose the setup, and the loudspeaker voice reassigns the man's role from actor to mental patient.
