Namor returns to the sea out of respect for DD and to stop Krang from taking over Atlantis.

Synopsis

Synopsis
Little realizing that he is under the control of the Puppet Master, the Army tries to capture Namor for robbing a bank. After being shot in the arm, Namor seeks the healing power of water and winds up in the Hudson River. There he encounters Lady Dorma who has come to the surface world to retrieve him as the Behemoth has awakened and is menacing Atlantis. Namor breaks the Puppet Master's hold and returns to his undersea kingdom. Krang contacts the Puppet Master and commands that he make one of his special puppets of someone else.

Synopsis
Namor battles the Behemoth with the fate of Atlantis hanging in the balance. Krang has the Puppet Master build a puppet of the Behemoth so he can control the creature mentally. Even under Krang's control, Namor is able to beat the monster. Krang snatches victory from defeat, however, when he shows up in Atlantis and informs the Lady Dorma that he will use the puppet to bring the Behemoth back unless she agrees to marry him.

Synopsis
Namor brings Krang and Dorma back to Atlantis to face judgment. To settle the question of leadership once and for all, Namor decides to battle Krang in front of his assembled subjects. So his extraordinary powers do not give him an unfair advantage, Namor battles unarmed while Krang is permitted to use any weapons that he chooses. Even armed to the teeth, Krang is unable to defeat the avenging son. Namor imprisons Krang in the deepest depths of the ocean while Dorma is restored to his favor.

Synopsis
As the new ruler of Atlantis, Byrrah has Namor arrested and sent to the dreaded Inferno Isle. Namor battles the lava monster that lives there and returns to Atlantis to seek his vengeance. Meanwhile, back in the undersea kingdom, Dorma has found Byrrah's hypnosis machine that won him the throne and uses it to turn the Atlantean allegiance back to Namor. With his hold quickly crumbling, Byrrah has Attuma activate a weapon that will destroy all of Atlantis figuring if that if he can't rule the realm, no one will. Namor arrives in time to destroy the machine and rout his enemies.

In correspondence with Dan Adkins Oct 2012 he mailed a letter and among other items enclosed was a photo copy of the published cover for Tales to Astonish (1959 series) #92. He wrote that Don Heck penciled the cover, and he inked, but that he was asked to redraw the Sub-Mariner figure. “My favorite art by Don Heck. The inks are mine and I was asked to re-draw Subby. This was for my first Marvel story. The new Subby figure, by me has a fist and looks more mad than Don’s Subby. But the power and the mood is in the figure by Don.” - Dan Adkins.

Synopsis
When a passing ship dumps a radioactive barrel into Namor's realm, he realizes the danger it poses and takes it far away from Atlantis to throw it into a deep crevasse. Little does he know that the radiation in the barrel has awakened an ancient monster who begins to menace both the surface world and the world beneath the waves alike. Thinking the monster another surface threat, Namor begins to battle it as a nearby submarine, who is also tracking the radioactive creature, begins firing torpedoes at the both of them.

Synopsis
As Namor battles It, torpedoes from the submarine cause an avalanche, trapping It. Namor turns on the submarine and begins to punch holes in it. It (the creature) returns and they battle, further damaging the submarine and (apparently) killing It. The submarine leaves (with the carcass of It) while Namor breaks off, feeling weakness overwhelm him. Namor makes it back to Atlantis where the advanced medicine saves his life from a massive dose of radiation. Improving, he vows to summon a council of War!

Synopsis
As Namor plans his assault against the surface world, he is contacted by Dragorr, ruler of a small island, and invited to join him in conquering the world. Namor feels insulted by the surface man's affronity and decides to visit his island to teach him a lesson. Instead, he ends up being captured and forced to do Dragorr's bidding. It is only the timely intervention of the Lady Dorma that frees him and reveals the fact that Dragorr is a robot being run by the diminutive Gnome.

Synopsis
As Namor and Dorma return to Atlantis from Dragorr's island, they come across an underwater city built by surface men. Namor bristles at the invaders and has words with the city's founder and creator, Dr. Walter Newell. As the two men parlay, the Plunderer shows up in a powerful sub and punches a hole in the dome that covers the city. Namor confronts the Plunderer but is forced to leave the villain as he sees that Dorma is in trouble. While Namor and Newell rescue Dorma and the inhabitants of the city, the Plunderer loots the ruins of the collapsed dome and takes off.

Synopsis
Namor is on Skull Island in the Savage Land as a prisoner of the Plunderer. The villain tries to entice the Sub-Mariner into becoming his partner in world conquest by trying to impress him with his powerful vibra-gun constructed from Plunderstone (the Savage Land's version of vibranium). When the local Swamp Men attack, Namor is freed and the Plunderer's base begins to burn to the ground. Namor escapes from the inferno but not in time to stop the Plunderer from escaping in his powerful submarine. The villain decides to attack Atlantis in retribution for all of the trouble Namor has caused him.

Synopsis
Namor returns to Atlantis only to find it under attack by the Plunderer. As the two parties clash, an American sub overhead senses the vibrations and begins to drop depth charges in case it is the Sub-Mariner intent on attacking them. The charges not only take out the Plunderer's sub but also destroy much of the city of Atlantis. As Namor lies unconscious from the blast, the army of Atlantis heads for the surface, intent on all-out war with the world above.

Synopsis
Namor awakens in the ruins of Atlantis only to find that his army has taken off to start a war with the surface world. They plan on activating their latest and most dangerous weapon, the Hurricane Inducer, but the machine has not been tested and Namor fears that it will cause great harm to friend and foe alike. With his subjects already thinking him a traitor for allying with the piratical Plunderer, Namor doesn't do his tarnished rep any favors when he is caught destroying the Atlantean's most powerful weapon. With the inducer destroyed, the Atlanteans decide to return home.

Synopsis
Buried under tons of ice by Destiny, Namor's thoughts drift back to his mother Princess Fen's meeting with Captain McKenzie and his boyhood in Atlantis. He remembers fighting Destiny, who defeats him and sends Namor to New York for a five-year break while Destiny goes into suspended animation to perfect his powers. With his memory gone, Namor wanders the Bowery as a derelict until he is accidentally found by Johnny Storm and recovers his memory.
