After Bat-Mite is exiled from his home dimension he tags along when Batman captures some kidnappers. The imp is then kidnapped himself by Doctor Trauma, who has been experimenting with brain transplants and plans to transfer her own brain into the body of Hawkman.
Doctor Trauma succeeds in placing her consciousness in Hawkman's body, but Bat-Mite reverses the process. When the villain's other captives are released, Bat-Mite makes some new friends.
Robin is not amused when Bat-Mite shows up to rescue him from a deathtrap, but after they have defeated the villain that captured Robin (and after Bat-Mite leaves), Damian can't help but laugh.
