Synopsis
Tommy and Brent save an alien, S'Loro, from being trapped on a planetoid being torn apart by quakes. As a reward, S'Loro exposes the pair to the fumes of a pod to protect them from all harm. After narrow escapes from a magnetic meteor, a space vulture, and dagger asteroids, Tommy and Brent begin to wonder if it's all true. But it's all just part of S'Loro's plan to hijack a duridium shipment. After the hijacking, S'Loro plants mines in the Planeteers path, expecting the Planeteers to just plow through them, believing themselves charmed. But Tommy figured out the scam when he noticed that the Vulture wasn't acting like a real vulture would, and S'Loro and his men are captured.
