- Synopsis
- The Goblin voice in Norman's head tells him that his next move in his bid for retaining power is to bring down Asgard which is now hovering over a field in Oklahoma. He calls another meeting of the Cabal to inform them of this new mission as well as introduce them to Taskmaster, who is replacing Namor. When Doom strenuously objects, Norman has him blasted only to discover that it is not Doom but a Doombot. When the president refuses to let Norman conduct an attack on Asgard, Loki suggests they create an incident that will allow such an attack to be acceptable.

- Synopsis
- Captain America's heroes battle Osborn's forces in defense of Asgard. Norman calls in the Hood and his army of goons as support. Speed gets a suit of armor to the ailing Tony Stark and Iron Man joins on Cap's side. Realizing that his support base is crumbling, Norman orders Sentry to bring down Asgard. He does so, crashing it near the city of Broxton, Oklahoma. He points out, however, that Sentry has released the powerful Void contained inside of him.

He takes the Norn Stones from the Hood and uses them to enchant some of Cap's heroes so they can fight off the Void. The Void responds by tearing Loki to pieces. Iron Man crashes the H.A.M.M.E.R. helicarrier into the Void which releases much of its power and transforms the creature back into Sentry. Thor is forced to kill Sentry before he can Void out again. With the Siege over, the president has Osborn arrested, overturns superhero registration and asks Cap (now "The Captain") to form a new Avengers team.
