When the time seems right, she sets up a romantic dinner for two so he can propose to Eve. Bob arrives before Eve and tells Ann he doesn't know how to propose. Ann shows him how to take her in his arms and kiss her. But the 'practice' kiss makes Ann realize that she loves Bob.
