- Synopsis
- After a free-for-all with the Goblin, where Spidey takes down his old foe again, things seem to settle down as the Parkers begin helping Aunt May move into a new apartment. Peter gets a call that his Uncle's gravestone has been broken up. At the cemetery, Peter receives an ominous phone call from a mysterious foe and by the time he races across town to make sure Aunt May is safe and sound, she is gone.

- Synopsis
- Desperate to find his missing Aunt May, Spidey tries to wrangle info from the recently captured Norman Osborn, asks the Avengers for help (but gets in a fight with them instead) and finally sinks to asking the Owl to give him a hand. The Owl fingers Electro and the Vulture as the culprits and Spidey swings off in hot pursuit.

- Synopsis
- Thinking he had a part in capturing Aunt May, Spidey fights a souped up Electro, getting badly injured in the process, but not before he redistributes twenty million dollars that the electric dynamo and his partner, the Vulture, stole from the Owl to a bunch of onlooking New Yorkers. Rushed to the hospital, a bedridden Spidey is visited by the Vulture.

- Synopsis
- Vulture rips Peter from his hospital room and during the ensuing fight, explains that the money Spidey lost him last issue was to pay for the treatment of his dying grandson. Black Cat intervenes and helps take Vulture down. The old bird is then turned over to the Owl who takes a very dim view of his being robbed blind by Electro and the Vulture. An orderly with a camera delivers a picture of a maskless but bandaged Spidey to the Daily Bugle offices, much to Jonah's delight.
