- Synopsis
- Sally argues that there is no such thing as love at first sight and uses her past relationships as examples. But when she goes to Joan's party, she knows before she opens the door that a man will be standing there, looking across the room into her eyes. When she opens the door, he is there and they are immediately drawn to each other. He tells her that he was waiting for her since he was old enough to dream of the girl he was going to marry. As she drives off with her husband following their wedding, she has to admit that love at first sight did exist.

- Synopsis
- On her way to catch her train on a snowy day, Peggy sees a boy on a scooter slide and fall. She stays with the boy and lends him money to make a phone call. She misses her regular train, but doesn't care because she's thinking about him. She hopes to see him the next day after work, but when he shows up to repay her he introduces her to his fiancee. She misses her regular train, but is again given a seat by a man she would normally not meet if she had caught her regular train. A week later she has fallen in love with him, but he can't figure out why she calls him her scooter boy.
As is typical with this feature, Davy and Val are only portrayed in the first panel as the people who decide which story to publish that week.

- Daphne is a photographer's assistant and has worked with Len on a hundred weddings, wishing she was the bride. She meets a man at one of the weddings who starts asking her out. When Len's work schedule conflicts with her personal life, she quits her job. Martin talks about settling down, but Daphne realizes it is no use trying to fit the wrong person into her dreams as Len is the only man she'll ever really love. She decides to work for Len again and if that's all it ever is between them, she'll just have to accept it.

- Tim isn't much of a ladies' man, but he's an obliging young man who never seems to say "no". He always seems to be busy and leaves it up to Joyce to fix their dates. She wonders if he would really care if she dropped him. When Tim is too busy to go with her to the flower show at Hawkshill, she agrees to go with Johnny. She wants to show Tim she could get along without him even though she doesn't like Johnny. When Tim shows up and runs Johnny off, he tells her he isn't jealous because he trusts her. He never thought she had any doubts that he really wanted to see her.

A rose, a stone and a postcard remind her of times together with him that both caused her to love him and to distrust him. Harry catches up to her at the station, asking her to forgive him and get married. She tries to walk out on him and she realizes he may never change even when they are married, but it was no use. For good or bad, she was Harry's and he was hers.
