She doesn't see her uncle again until her wedding to Matt three months later. He had known all along that she always did the opposite of what everyone told her and that's why he recommended Tim.

- Synopsis
- Eve is incensed when she sees "Our Teacher Loves Nobby Clark" written on the blackboard and the attitude of Mr. Clark gets under her skin. She starts spending more time with Tom, the school games master, but is uncomfortable with his tough attitude with the kids. Eventually, Tom's attitude leads to a confrontation with Mr. Clark, but the gentle, mild-mannered teacher was a boxing champion at school and handles Tom with no problem. Later Eve would learn that Mr. Clark himself had written the message on Eve's blackboard because he loved her.
