She begins to fall for him and they agree to meet again. The next day, Alison sees a girl at the airport lost and lonely. She's considers leaving Lisa there, but knows she couldn't live with her conscience if she gets Hal that way.

And Steve admits it's a disaster—he hasn't insured the shop yet and the fire will bankrupt them.

But Stella can't sleep and is troubled by the name Otto Hans. Finally, she remembers that it is the name of the border guard killed at the same time as Frank. She returns to the Alpine Village to speak again with the ski instructor who told her about Frank's death. She arrives to find him dead and Frank in the room with the body.
