Synopsis
The Olympian goddesses create the Amazons to teach humanity the ways of Gaea. After the Amazons forget their purpose, and fall prey to the machinations of Ares, a group of Amazons led by Hippolyte rededicate themselves to their task. Time passes, and when Hippolyte yearns for the child she never had, the goddesses tell her to create a child from clay, which they animate, and whom the queen names Diana. After Diana has grown, the goddesses ask the Amazons to choose a champion to confront a new scheme of Ares'. Diana wins the competition to be champion and heads out into Patriarch's World.

Synopsis
As General Kohler gives Colonel Steve Trevor a surprise assignment, Diana waits for the gods to reveal her mission. Hermes first takes Diana to Harmonia to get an amulet that will help her track down Ares, but they rush back to the Amazons' island to stop Colonel Trevor from dropping a bomb on Themyscira and rescue the Colonel from a watery grave. Athena appears to tell Diana she is now prepared for her mission and Hermes leads Diana, carrying Colonel Trevor, to Man's World. But Phobos and Deimos, the masterminds behind the plot to bomb the Amazons, are not through with Diana.

Synopsis
After helping Diana deliver Colonel Trevor to the hospital at Hanscom Air Force Base, Hermes takes the princess to Harvard, where she meets Prof. Julia Kapatelis, who Hermes says will help Diana unlock the secret's of Harmonia's talisman. While Diana and Julia get acquainted and get to work on the amulet, Steve fights for his life against disciples of Ares, and Phobos sends a statue of Decay to the Kapatelis residence. Late that night, the statue comes to life, aging young Vanessa Kapatelis, and bringing the house down around Diana and Julia.

Synopsis
Diana subdues and destroys Decay with the lasso made from Gaea's girdle, for it counters decay with constant renewal, just as the goddess Gaea constantly renews the Earth. After the media reports on the battle and dubs Diana Wonder Woman, Steve, Etta, and Matthew seek out the princess' help in clearing Steve's name.

Synopsis
Diana figures out that Harmonia's talisman warns of World War III and that by joining the image on the talisman to its opposite in a mirror she is able to take Etta, Julia, Matthew, and Steve to face Deimos and Phobos. When Diana cuts off Deimos' head and recovers the other half of the talisman, Phobos flees. Joining the two halves of the amulet, the group is instantly transported to a missile base where they face General Tolliver and finally Ares himself.

Synopsis
After being transported to Themyscira, Diana is restored by the gods. Though her mother wishes she would stay, Diana returns to Boston, where she heals Vanessa. Before facing a military debriefing on the recent events, Diana meets publicist Myndi Mayer, who helps Diana present her point of view to the military and the public. But Diana's story, and her lasso, attract the attention of the mysterious Barbara Minerva.

Synopsis
Four women write how their lives have recently crossed with Wonder Woman's. Julia Kapatelis records how she witnessed Diana's mission to America interrupted by anti-superhero hysteria fomented by G. Gordon Godfrey. Etta Candy writes to Steve Trevor how the military have dealt with Wonder Woman in the wake of the Ares Assault. Vanessa Kapatelis writes in her diary how Diana has affected her school life. And Myndi Mayer composes a letter to Julia to discuss the publicity campaign she had run for Wonder Woman. But at the same time, a stranger asks to meet the princess in a letter of her own.

Synopsis
Diana meets with Barbara Minerva and shows her the lasso made from Gaea's girdle, but holding it, Minerva must reveal that she brought Diana to meet her under false pretenses. Later, Minerva transforms herself into the Cheetah and tracks Diana in order to wrest the lasso from the princess. To defend Diana, Julia shoots the villainess, but Cheetah slips away. Several days later, Diana says her good-byes to Julia and Vanessa and heads for home.

Synopsis
Goaded on by Pan, Zeus decides to take Diana as his lover, but she refuses. As punishment for her refusal, Zeus challenges the princess to enter the portal that leads beneath Themyscira to face a series of labors assigned her by each of the gods until all of Olympus is convinced of her worth. Armed for her task, Wonder Woman enters the portal and begins her quest, facing first Cottus and then the seven-headed Hydra.

Synopsis
While Hippolyte traces her daughter's footsteps and faces new horrors sent by Pan, the princess learns how Diana Trevor came to Themyscira years ago and faced the horrors beyond the portal. Her task complete and now joined by the soul of her husband, Diana Trevor heads off with Hades. Pan appears to Wonder Woman and gives her her next task, to assist the heroes of Earth as they fight the Manhunters. Hippolyte remains below Themyscira, however, and is shocked to recognize the voice of a long-forgotten acquaintance.

Synopsis
The gods discover that the real Pan has been replaced by an impostor and send Hermes to retrieve Diana and return her to her quest just in time to save her mother from Polyphemus. Together, Diana and Hippolyte face another trio of horrors, but receive the aid of Harmonia who returns her talisman to Diana to use to deliver the remaining demons trapped within Heracles to their new host, Ares. The demons turned over to Ares, Diana believes her quest to be complete. But Hermes arrives and informs her she has one more task before her -- avenge the murder of his son Pan.

Synopsis
Her task for Hermes accomplished, Diana returns to find Heracles bearing the weight of Themyscira over the battered body of her mother. After delivering Hippolyte to the surface, Diana returns to help shoulder the burden of the island, but the gods relieve them both of that task. After much recovery and reconciliation, the gods accept Heracles into their number and the Amazons decide to appoint an ambassador to allow for a greater exchange of ideas between Themyscira and the rest of the world.
