Indexer Notes

In the Table of Contents for this collection, the writer of this story is listed as William Moulton Marston. The following note regarding the writing credit for this story is from the GCD index of the original issue.

Writer credit from "The Secret History of Wonder Woman" (Jill Lapore, 2014), previously given as William Moulton Marston.

Joye Hummel is the maiden name for the scripter (before 1947), then she married David Murchison. When he passed away, Joye married Jack Kelly. So her name, all combined, reads Joye Hummel Murchison Kelly, the way Jill Lapore refers to her in her book above.

Note: Hummel resigned from DC in 1947, not long after Marston's death on May 2, 1947, but her stories continued to appear in print into 1949.

Oddity: Lapore's book only lists Hummel scripting part 2 of this 3 part story. Printer's error?
