Synopsis
Sin invades one of her father's old bases where she retrieves a mystic hammer and becomes possessed by the spirit of Skadi. She then travels to the ocean floor and meets the Serpent who refers to himself as All-Father. Meanwhile, the heroes of Earth hold a press conference, claiming that they will rebuild Asgard. Odin is angry about this and tells Thor he must choose between his people and mankind. As a terrible prophecy begins to unfold, Odin commands his subjects back across the rainbow bridge to the remnants of Asgard. Thor defies his father who beats him up and drags him along anyway.

Synopsis
From Asgard, Odin prepares his people to raze the planet Earth in order to destroy the Serpent. Unfortunately, this will kill the entire population in the process. Back on Earth, Juggernaut, Hulk, Titania and Attuma pick up mystic hammers and become possessed by powerful and malevolent beings. The Avengers and the Future Foundation try to figure out what is going on as they face this new threat. The Serpent sends his forces out to decimate Washington D.C.

Synopsis
A contingent of Avengers try to defend Washington D.C. against Skadi and her forces. They are overpowered and Sin (as Skadi) kills Cap. The rest of the Avengers split into small teams and try to battle friends and foes who have been taken over by mystic hammers. Unfortunately, as the Future Foundation is investigating another hammer, Thing touches it and transforms into Angrir. Meanwhile, on Asgard, Thor defies Odin and his plan to decimate Earth so the All-Father decides to exile him to Midgard to be slaughtered by the Serpent.
