Synopsis
Victor von Doom rescues Maria Hill from Diablo. The Thing, serving as a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, checks in on Amara Perera because of her connection to Victor von Doom, who is sponsoring her research on Alzheimer's after Tony Stark's passing. Victor von Doom breaks into Tony Stark's lab and explains to the digital projection of Tony Stark's consciousness, preserved as A.I., that he believes he must pick up the mantle of Iron Man. Cynthia von Doom watches her son (Victor) wearing the Iron Man suit through a magic spell.
