Synopsis
A down on his out sculpturer named Leonard Caine finds a way to create life-like stone sculptures in Haiti. He encounters a witch doctor who has a water like elixir that hardens bodies into stone. After murdering the witch doctor and stealing the elixir, he heads back to the U.S.A. He becomes a sensation again. He has to steal corpses and commit murder for his "sculptures". One night after passing out, he is revived thanks to some water given to him by his ignorant girlfriend. She had gotten the water from the elixir bottle in his studio!

The only way these items can be removed and his spirit laid to rest is if a descendant of his can commit an act of bravery. This leads us to the modern day and his descendant James D Campbell who has just inherited his castle....

Hector Thorg, an evil and paranoid hunchback, lives with his wealthy good looking brother in a huge mansion. He kills his brother so he can inherit the estate by leading him into the dreaded "Black Room", a sealed off room with a huge guillotine and pit inside that was used by the mansion's original owner for executions. Afterwards he begins luring guests one by one into the room thinking they are going to expose him. The law are onto him and swarm the mansion trapping him in the room and sealing it off. Centuries later his ghost roams the mansion preying on any who enter the home.

Tagona is confronted by swamp hermit Zeek, who reveals himself to be Tagona's enemy Zafara Zaran, emperor of Arcturus, who banished Tagona 3,000 years earlier. Tagona kills Zafara but before he dies the old man says his descendants will take up the hunt until Tagona is destroyed.
