While it is a well-known fact that the whole show was admittedly based on the fast-paced TV hit "Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In," this particular segment is obviously their answer to the Joke Wall sequence. Instead of opening doors, the comedians popped up in a cornfield to deliver zingers.
