Synopsis
Norma leaves her coal-miner husband and becomes a model in the big city. She's then hired to dance in a nightclub; part of her act is to distribute beads from her necklace to certain customers. However, she's arrested because the beads contain dope. Her boss clears her of wrongdoing and Norma returns to her husband, who takes her back.

Synopsis
Ann resents her younger sister Myrt, whose dancing ability helps make her a star under the name "Jessica." Ann starts to impersonate Myrt around their hometown; she even fools wealthy Roland, who is in love with Myrt. However, Ann discovers she doesn't like the phony world of theatrical hangers-on, and confesses everything to Roland, who hits her. Ann drops her masquerade and returns to her own life, happier now. She also discovers Myrt has married the real Roland, and the man she had been dating was another impostor.

Synopsis
Nurse Cynthia loves doctor Gene. After a train wreck, Cynthia sees Gene worrying about a young woman victim. Cynthia jealously decides to kill her by substituting water for medicine; she later changes her mind but the woman is dead. Cynthia goes to work in another hospital across the country. She and doctor Ronnie fall in love. After another train wreck, Cynthia discovers Gene is one of the injured; he tells her that the woman died of her injuries and it wasn't Cynthia's fault. A jealous Ronnie tries to pull the same scheme to kill Gene but Cynthia stops him. They decide to get married.
