- Synopsis
- Trudy joins the Army Nurse Corps after her best friend’s husband is killed in Korea. Trudy blames officer Bob for the death. When a wounded Bob arrives at a hospital in Japan, Trudy contemplates letting him die but can’t do it. Army Intelligence asks Trudy to get to know Bob, who’s suspected of giving information to the enemy. Bob is cleared of suspicion and Trudy also learns he wasn’t to blame for the death of her friend’s husband. Bob and Trudy get married.

Lillian prepares to flee but Bill comes home and says the murderer, a man, was caught trying to pawn the victim’s valuables. Lillian will never reveal her secret.
