Issue Notes

Marks the first American publication of a comic related to the British TV series Doctor Who since the 1966 release Movie Classic (Dell, 1961 series) #190 adapted the 1965 film Dr. Who and the Daleks. This marks the first American comic book appearance of the TV version of the character The Doctor, although this and all future Marvel US releases will consist of reprints from the the Marvel UK publication Doctor Who Weekly (later Doctor Who Magazine). Cover and most interior art feature the Fourth Doctor as played by Tom Baker in the TV series.
This issue is a variant of Marvel Premiere (Marvel, 1972 series) #57 [Direct]. There exist further variants:
