Synopsis
Passkey Jones, the traveling locksmith, comes to Horseshoe Flat to kill Pat Brennan. Brennan killed Jones' friend, Joe Feely. Jones gets captured by Brennan and his friends, who are part of a gang led by Bat Lewis. Silvertip has to find Jones and rescue him from Lewis and his gang.

Story continues on inside back cover in black and white and concludes on back cover in color. Last panel is Dell's "A Pledge to Parents." Based on the 1933 novel "Silvertip's Roundup" by Max Brand. Pencils and inks credits for this sequence from Alberto Becattini (May 14, 2007).
