Indexer Notes

The piece on Whaling was illustrated by Morris Gollub. The style is clearly his style including: Great attention to detail for a completed look on each panel. Precise representation of animals and figures especially the muscle patterns. Moe was a wrestler and armature body builder which gave him a strong background in human anatomy. The movement of all the figures throughout the piece is smooth exhibiting Gollub's skill in animation. The fact that one story is credited to him in this issue demonstrates that he was involved in the production of the issue.
