Issue Notes

Approved Comics (St. John, 1954 Series) #10 (July 1954) is the only issue of the series' 12-issue run to feature a funny-animal character - Terrytoons Dinky Duck. https://www.comics.org/series/11548/covers/

It also shares a cover date of July 1954 with the issue before it, Approved Comics (St. John, 1954 Series) #9 (July 1954) "Western Bandit Trails".

This issue is not to be confused with Dinky Duck (St. John, 1951 Series) #10 (September 1954), and may have been intended to be published as Dinky Duck #9 of the 1951 series - as there is no issue #9 and a six-month gap exists between Dinky Duck #8 and #10.

While sporting a new cover, this issue reprints the interior comics content of Dinky Duck (St. John, 1951 Series) #3 (March 1952).
