Indexer Notes

Likely a Bolling script based on the narrative structure and sentimentality of the story, which foreshadows Bolling's 1980s work on "Archie and Me." Reference is made to the Patch Hop stories of the 1940s and Ophelia Gluetenschnable, who was a prototype for Ethel in the 1940s and 1950s. Archie, Reggie, Betty, and Veronica appear in their classic wardrobe during the flashback.
Includes indicia at bottom of first page.
