Nick Caputo believes this is an Everett drawn cover with the man's face altered by Carl Burgos. The unaltered cover was used for the cover of Creepy Worlds #90. Jim Vadeboncoeur, Jr. disagrees with Nick. Jim compared the two covers in Photoshop, and notes that the wall and the coat, as well as the man's face, have been redrawn for the Creepy Worlds cover. Nick doubts the cover was altered by a UK artist, since evidence from other reprints points to their usage of original stats supplied to them by Marvel. The Creepy Worlds cover art style resembles Everett somewhat, but Jim doesn't believe that Everett had anything to do with either version. Michael J. Vassallo postulates that the cover may have been originally drawn by Everett and heavily revised by Burgos.
