Synopsis
The Joes fight back as a group led by Duke infiltrates the Silent Castle. At the same time, Hawk attempts to get into the Pentagon and is pursued by several U.S. security troops to a secret room when his false i.d. fails him at the security checkpoint forcing him to rush inside the Pentagon. As they break into the room and attempt to arrest him, he stops them in their tracks as he reveals he just sent a message to someone higher up to rescind the Joes' status as renegades.

Synopsis
The Joes have downloaded information from the Silent Castle's computers that reveal the Commander's plans to take over the U.S. to the Pentagon. Meanwhile, at the Pentagon, Hawk awaits the ok from the President before Cobra troopers are disarmed and placed into custody by the U.S. military. To be continued...

Synopsis
The Joes continue their escape with Wild Bill's help as now Storm Shadow is in tow as their prisoner. Snake-Eyes has been placed under Dr. Venom's brainwave scanner by Cobra Commander, and as Dr. Mindbender runs the program to turn Snake-Eyes, the late Dr. Venom's image appears on the scanner again. Storm Shadow vows to return to free his sword brother from Cobra, but there will be serious problems if he isn't aided, as Snake-Eyes is now a brainwashed Cobra agent. Meanwhile, Hawk begins to seek out the hidden Cobra sleeper agents inside the U.S. Government and elsewhere.

Synopsis
The Joes have been fully reinstated, and they rescue Chuckles, held captive by Cobra agents hiding out in the underground Cobra headquarters's remains located in the former town of Springfield. Once freed, he's taken back to the recently reactivated Pit III, the Joes' underground headquarters, to question Storm Shadow. The Commander doesn't really care Mindbender knows the Pit III is active again because he wonders what good is that knowledge if they can't get in, but Baroness tells him the recently brainwashed Snake-eyes can, and the Commander agrees to that plan.

Synopsis
As Cobra Commander is in Broca Beach enacting his plan of killing off the Joes in the Pit III, Zartan meets up with the Dreadnoks at their headquarters in New Jersey, wanting them ready when the next opportunity arrives to gain favor. But the Dreadnoks won't work because they're starved and demand their usual fare of grape soda and doughnuts before they do anything else. Baroness confronts Lady Jaye while on the Dreadnok's food run and is captured by her. Billy's mind has been taken over by Venom's scanner so he can enact his revenge on Cobra; Destro is aware of this, but Mindbender's not.

Synopsis
The Joes have the Baroness under lock and key in the Pit III, and Destro plans a rescue attempt using Zartan and the Dreadnoks, due to the Commander's indecisiveness to do so. Mindbender wonders why Billy wants to be subjected willingly to the brainwave scanner so many times, not knowing Dr. Venom's consciousness inside the machine has taken over Billy. While Storm Shadow goes to free his sword brother Snake-Eyes from Cobra, Snakes attempts to free himself from the scanner's influence, chasing after Venom's consciousness inside.

Snake-Eyes is freed from the late Dr. Venom's control by Storm Shadow using the Arashikage mindset, returning his sword brother back to normal (Snake-Eyes failing his own attempt last issue by way of Venom's actions inside his mind via the scanner), but Billy is still under Venom's influence.

Snake-Eyes and Storm Shadow confront the Dr. Venom-controlled Billy, and free him from Venom's influence by placing him under the scanner, and trapping Venom's virtual consciousness once again inside via an image of Kwinn taking him captive.
