- Synopsis
- Something is stalking the streets of Thessalonika, killing anyone caught outside at night. In this panicky environment, someone as different as Arak is bound to attract unwanted attention. During a brawl with Byzantine soldiers, Arak is rendered unconscious and left outside for the invisible Stalker. But, he's rescued by a barmaid and her father, who reveal that they (through magical means) are the cause of the Stalker's existence; they plan to use it to drive the Byzantines from their city. However, when the Stalker (actually a hydra) attacks Satyricus, Arak manages to destroy it with fire.
