Issue Notes

There are at least two sub-variants differing in indicia and in promos (all on inside front covers). That dated November 1963 has two half-page promos ("13 Outstanding Classics Illustrated Special Issues" and "Build Your Own Library"). The other has no issue date, but notes that it is copyright August 1965. This one has a full-page "Build Your Own Library" promo. Each sub-variant is printed in the U.S.A.
