It appears that a significant amount of time has passed since the previous issue. It is mentioned that Diana has gone on 43 missions for the US this year. Etta and Diana appear to be very close, while their relationship was strained in issue #25 because Etta blamed Diana for not saving Barbara Ann from her life as the Cheetah. Etta's reconciliation with Diana is addressed in issue #29.
The Picket now has a temporary covert headquarters set up as a tech start-up company named Covert Apps, which is located in a building owned by Ulta Megatech.
General Thomas is not identified by name until #30.
