Ray explains to Batman that the damage to the Microverse was initiated when something punched a hole into our universe, and that someone came through that hole. We see a giant blue hand reaching through a hole in space. (Dr. Manhattan?) Batman tells Ray that the energy from the Ignition Point is similar to the energy from a button Batman previously encountered in "The Button" story line in Batman (DC, 2016 series) #21-22 and The Flash (DC, 2016 series) #21-22. Batman asks Ray to look into the Microverse connection to this energy.

Ray believes that he can heal the damage in the Microverse with the help of notes that he found from Dr. Jay Abrams from Angor. Jay Abrams is really Blue Jay, the hero from Angor with shrinking powers. The JLA previously faced the Extremists from Angor in issues #1-4. In issue #4, we saw a flashback of Blue Jay escaping Angor's destruction by shrinking down to the Microverse. Ray will meet Blue Jay in the Microverse in issue #19.
