Synopsis
The Controllers continue their plan to revive the Darkstars to help them control the Universe. Hal visits Tomar-Tu in his Sciencell, where Tomar confirms he has no regrets for killing Romat-Ru and believes the Corps should execute vicious killers. This attitude captures the attention of the Darkstar One mantle which takes on Tomar as its host.

The Controllers first revealed their plan to revive the Darkstars in issue #36.

Tomar-Tu's murder of Romat-Ru was revealed in issue #23. He was removed from the Corps and imprisoned in a Sciencell in issues #24-25. Somar-Le was selected as Tomar-Tu's replacement in issue #25.
